Support
A real inbox, read by a real person. Every question gets an answer.
Support for DayGaps is an email address with a person behind it. Every question gets an answer, whether it is a bug, a confusion, a feature idea, or a disagreement with a design choice.
Before you write, or instead
The Start page covers setup and the first day. Concepts explains the model: areas, projects, gaps, scheduled versus due, tags, and sharing. The FAQ holds the operational details and every keyboard shortcut, and it mirrors the in-app Help (press ⌘? on the Mac).
Reporting a bug
The fastest path to a fix is an email with:
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- Your macOS or iOS version, and the app version (in Settings).
- A screenshot, if the problem is visible.
If something looks wrong with sync, note which device wrote the change and which device failed to show it; the Settings screen on the Mac includes sync diagnostics worth pasting.
Feature ideas
Send them. The bar for adding features is deliberately high, because every control we add is something you have to look at for the rest of the app’s life. Ideas that reduce real friction have a way of shipping; the reasoning either way is something you will get back in the reply.
Your data
Your data lives in your iCloud account, and we have no access to it. That means we also cannot recover it for you; recovery questions are iCloud questions, and we will happily help you figure out where to look.
